Artemisinin and Corona-
Since the beginning of the epidemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) has published an ad in support of efforts to use traditional medicine that has been proven to be effective in dealing with the corona virus. The ad details only one plant for clarification: Laanat Anua.
Even before the current outbreak of the covid 19 corona virus, a number of plant extracts were already tested in the laboratory in the viral context, among them Anat anua (another species of wormwood) which showed activity against the SARS-CoV virus - the type of corona that broke out in 2002/3. Anat Hanua had the second highest intensity of activity. It should be noted that in recent studies conducted on the current virus, a laboratory activity 9 times stronger than what was achieved in the aforementioned experiment was observed.Surprisingly the whole plant showed stronger activity than artemisinin alone.It is important to emphasize that this is a laboratory experiment, the clinical research is in progress and there are still no published results of research on humans. Today, Anat Anua (the Chinese) and artemisinin are under accelerated examination of factors that joined together to eradicate the corona epidemic. The German "Max Planck" Institute and ArtemiLife Inc. - together with other researchers from Denmark and Germany, is a necessary step in light of the data presented above. Reactions to Viromycin treatment

מתוך מאמר הסוקר את הפעילות ה הפרמקולוגיה הניסויית והקלינית של הצמח הכולל מספר רב של מחקרים איכותניים [13] : בסין, הודו, תאילנד ומלזיה נעשה שימוש נרחב בצמח זה לטיפול בכאבי גרון, שפעת וזיהומים בדרכי הנשימה העליונות. אנדרוגרפוליד, (andrographolide) המרכיב הכימי הביואקטיבי העיקרי של הצמח, הראה פוטנציאל אנטי-סרטני במספר מחקרים. אנדרוגרפוליד ונגזרותיו מפגינים השפעות נוגדות דלקת במודלים ניסיוניים של אסתמה, שבץ ודלקת מפרקים. בשנים האחרונות כימאים פרמצבטיים סינתזו נגזרות רבות של אנדרוגרפוליד, אשר מציגות פעילויות פרמקולוגיות משמעותיות כגון פעילות נוגדת דלקת, אנטיבקטריאלית, אנטי-גידולית, נוגדת סוכרת, אנטי HIV (נגיף הכשל החיסוני, הגורם לאיידס) מעכבת אכילה ע"י חרקים (antifeedant) לשימור מוצרים, ואנטי-ויראלית.
השפעה נוגדת חום מובהקת בניסוי בבע"ח וכן נמצאה הקלה על חום בבני אדם. פעילות משככת כאב מובהקת. המיצוי האתנולי נמצא יעיל כנגד זיהומים בדרכי הנשימה העליונות. פעילות אימונומודולטורית - היכולת לווסת את פעילות מערכת החיסון – כלומר לחזק, להפעיל או לדכא תגובה חיסונית בהתאם לצורך, ולא רק “להגביר” אותה באופן גורף. ניסויים שונים הראו השפעות אנטי ויראליות- אנדרוגרפיס מפגין פעילות מנטרלת כנגד נגיף הכשל החיסוני האנושי (HIV), פעילות כנגד נגיף ההרפס סימפלקס ((HSV, ללא רעילות משמעותית לתאים. פגיעה בהתרבות נגיף אפשטיין–בר ( EBV המוכר כמונו) בתאים נגועים. עיכוב התפתחות משמעותי ב DENV1-infected Vero E6 - נגיף הדנגי מסוג אחד.
אנדרוגרפוליד מפחית באופן מובהק דלקת הנגרמת על-ידי היסטמין (אלרגיה), דימתיל-בנזן ואדרנלין (דלקת הנגרמת מסטרס מתמשך).
מספר מחקרים דיווחו על פעילות מובהקת נוגדת-חמצון, ניטרול רדיקלים חופשיים, והפחתת עקה חמצונית.
פעילות אנטימיקרוביאלית חזקה כנגד מגוון רחב של מיקרואורגניזמים. בניסויי מעבדה דווחה פעילות כנגד חיידקי סלמונלה, שיגלה, אשריכיה קולי (חיידקים המוכרים בעיקר בגרימת שילשולים וקילקול קיבה), סטרפטוקוקים מקבוצה A (מוכר בעיקר כדלקת גרון) וסטפילוקוקוס זהוב (מוכר בעיקר בזיהומי עור). פעילות כנגד חיידקים גרם־חיוביים ושליליים. בניסויי מעבדה שונים, הצמח עיכב לחלוטין את גדילתו של טפיל המלריה.
במחקר על בע"ח תועדה יכולת להפחית רמות גלוקוז בדם ולהקל על ההחלמה מנפרופתיה סוכרתית. במחקר על בע"ח הצמח הדגים פעילות מגינה בולטת על הכליות ועל הכבד, גם ברעילות מושרית ע"י אתנול (אלכוהול) בבע"ח, וגם כנגד רעילות המושרת על-ידי פרצטמול (-החומר הפעיל באקמול) במודל ex vivo.
סמבוק שחור- Sambucus nigra:
ועדת E היא ועדה מדעית־רגולטורית רשמית שפעלה בגרמניה, מטעם משרד הבריאות הגרמני (Commission E ). מונוגרפיית ועדת E מציינת כי תוצר צמחי המכיל את פרחי הסמבוק משמש כתרופה צמחית להקלה על תסמיני הצטננות מוקדמים. מסקנת הועדה מקובלת גם במסמכים רגולטוריים אירופיים.

מסקנות מחקר נוסף [16]: פעילות נוגדת דלקת ונוגדת חמצון, מניעת נזק חמצוני שנגרם על־ידי תרכובת מחמצנת, הגנה על תאי כבד אנושיים מתורבתים ועל תאי אפיתל של המעי מפני עקה חמצונית מושרית, מניעת ירידה ברמות גלוטתיון, יצירת רדיקלים חופשיים ופירוק של החומר הגנטי.
סקוטלריה סינית- Scutellaria baicalensis :
הצמח מכיל פלבונואידים חזקים כמו בייקלין, בייקאלאין ו-וגונין, (baicalin, wogonoside and their aglycones baicalein wogonin) שהם המרכיבים האחראים לרוב הפעילויות הביולוגיות. חלק מהמחקרים המובאים נעשו על הצמח וחלקם על אחד מהרכיבים הללו.
מאמר סקירה מרובה מחקרים המציג מגוון רחב של פעילויות פרמקולוגיות, ובהן פעילות נוגדת סרטן, הגנה על הכבד, פעילות אנטיבקטריאלית ואנטי־ויראלית, פעילות נוגדת חמצון, נוגדת פרכוסים ומגינה על מערכת העצבים [18]. סיכום מחקר נוסף [19] : בייקלין הוא המרכיב הפעיל העיקרי של סקוטלריה סינית, ונמצא בשימוש נרחב ברפואה הסינית המסורתית הודות למגוון השפעות פרמקולוגיות, כגון פעילות נוגדת גידולים, נוגדת דלקת ואנטיבקטריאלית, וכן השפעות מגינות על מערכת הלב וכלי הדם, הכבד והכליות. לאחרונה זכו ההשפעות המגינות של בייקלין על מחלות כבד לתשומת לב רבה יותר. מספר מחקרים הראו כי בייקלין מגן מפני סוגים שונים של מחלות כבד, ובהן דלקת כבד נגיפית, מחלת כבד שומני, פגיעה כבדית המושרת על־ידי חומרים זרים, פגיעה כבדית כולסטטית וסרטן כבד ראשוני, באמצעות מגוון מנגנונים פרמקולוגיים.

Recommended instructions for use for the plugin-
Artemisinin is retained in our body for a relatively short time before it is eliminated through the liver and kidneys, so it is recommended to take the supplement several times throughout the day.
